6-8 Event-Christina Umek

This is a fun event for the 6th to 8th graders once a year. Volunteers are needed to help with organizing and chaperoning.

Academic and Cultural Arts Enrichment-Darlene Kuzloski


This committee arranges assemblies for the students at various times during the year.

After School Enrichment-Jen Smolenski and Melanie Bodner

This committee was designed to coordinate fun and informative classes for students after school. Volunteers needed to organize classes.

Art to Remember-Kyle Auwaerter

This is a fundraiser that is works with the art teacher. An assignment in art class is done and can be turned into various gift items. Volunteers are needed to help sort and return products. To learn more about this click here.

Back to School Night-Danielle Dolan

This is an event that provides refreshment and information during Back to School Night. A handful of volunteers are needed to setup, break down and maintain supplies during those nights.

Beach Photos by Jen Malpass-Melanie Bodner

This is a fundraiser that, for a reasonably low price, Jennifer provides a 15-minute photo shoot, a 5x7 of one of the pictures, a CD of digital copies of photos in color and sepia, and a release to print pictures. Pictures are taken in April or May on the beach. Committee members are needed day of photo shoots to help Jennifer keep moving through families.

Beautification-Lynn Botrell

This committee adds plants and helps maintain the grounds at the school. Volunteers are needed to help with planting and clean up as needed.

Book Fair-Elizabeth McLoughlin

Every October, Scholastic Books has a book fair during and after school for the kids to buy books. Volunteers are needed to help set up and run during the operation.

Box Tops-Beth Wasik

This is a fundraiser that collects and submits the Box Tops for money and products from the companies. Contests are at various times during the school year with prizes for classes or individuals. Click here to sign up for the Box Tops app.

Bowling-Lauren Ewing

This is an event for the kids for after school. For a price, kids get a few games of bowling each week. Parents are required to transport the kids to the bowling alley. Volunteers are needed to help at the bowling alley.

By-Laws-Suzanne Toohey

This committee maintains, reviews and proposes changes to the official PTO By-laws.

Cook’s Tour-Paul Werner


This is a HUGE fundraiser that asks local homeowners to decorate and open up their homes and local restaurants to serve a sample at the homes. Prize raffles and 50/50 drawings are also a part of this event. A large amount of volunteers are needed – from decorating the houses and gathering prizes before the tour to greeting and working the raffles the night of the tour. Cook’s Tour 50/50-Christina Fessler

Part of the Cooks Tour this fundraiser sells 50/50 raffle tickets at different locations/events up to the day of the Cooks Tour where the winner is drawn. It usually runs from September to December, many volunteers are needed to sell the tickets for this fundraiser.

Dance (PreK-2)-Sara Weir

This is a fun evening for Antrim students to get together & dance to the tunes from our DJ. Five dollars for PreK-2 Antrim students. Volunteers needed the night of the event to help work a couple of tables i.e. snack table, chaperone inside the gym, & clean up. Antrim PreK-2 students only, no siblings.

Dance (3-5)-Sara Weir

This is a fun evening for Antrim students to get together & dance to the tunes from our DJ. This drop off dance is $5 per Antrim student. Volunteers needed the night of the event to help work a couple of tables i.e. snack table, chaperone inside the gym, & clean up. Antrim 3-5 students only, no siblings.

End of the Year Dinner-Jen Smolenski and Mary Highton

This is an event that allows the members of the PTO to get together to enjoy each other’s company and celebrate the year’s work. Typically it is after school in over in June and at a BYOB location. No volunteers are needed.

Flamingo Flocking- Christina Campbell

This fundraiser raises money by placing a flock of plastic flamingos on lawns and asking for a fee to remove them and an opportunity to flock someone else for a price. It runs Mother’s Day to Father’s Day. Many volunteers are needed to move the multiple flocks around town each night.

Gifting Committee-Helen Schulter

This committee is designed to use the money we raise throughout the year. Volunteers are needed to help go through the Wish List from the parents and teachers.

Holiday Shop- Lauren Ewing

This committee works to find/make inexpensive gifts for the students to purchase as gifts during the holidays. Volunteers are needed to make/donate materials, set up shop, wrap gifts and help students shop, and take down shop at the end of sale.

Nominating Committee- Nichole Dougherty

This committee looks for candidates for the Executive Board.

Playground Committee- Executive Board

This committee looks to add to the playground/outdoor space in the school. Volunteers may be needed to write grants and reach out to the school community for playground equipment ideas.

Pumpkin Carving-Mary Highton

The Halloween event is for families to get together and carve pumpkins. For a fee, you get a pumpkin. It is held one afternoon and evening in the cafeteria. Volunteers are needed for setup, during and cleanup.

Recess Committee-Audry Artz, Amy Cholewa, Tara Weber, Terri DiGennaro

This committee was formed to purchase items for the kids to play with during recess especially during indoor winter recesses.

Rosemary Morgan-Christina Fessler

The Rosemary Morgan Essay contest is in honor of a former 4th grade teacher. The essay is done with the teachers and the subject is about New Jersey. The PTO gives a prize and the name on a plaque. Volunteers are needed to read essays and pick the top ones to present to the general membership.

Santa’s Breakfast/Photos-Kristy Adinolfi

This is a very festive family event where Antrim students & their families enjoy tasty treats, a multitude of games & activities, & receive a picture with Santa. Volunteers needed the day of to help with photography, food distribution, overseeing the activities & games, & the clean up.

Scholarship Committee-Helen Schulter

This committee helps twice a year with the school pictures. Volunteers are needed the day of pictures.

School Supplies-Melissa Mercado

Coordinate with the principal to get the official supply list for all grades in March. Advertise the service to Antrim families and set up the summer time delivery to school. One day the end of August, volunteers are needed to help set up kits in the cafeteria by grade and distribute them to parents.

Sunshine/Follow Your Heart-Sabrina Bezerra

This committee was formed to send sunshine to students and faculty who need it. Volunteers are needed to help deliver gifts.
